A view of the fortified city of Schweinfurt located at the Main river. Schweinfurt was at that time a very important Franconian industrial city. Information on the geographical location and the city history from 1254 – c.1720 in a legend at the bottom written in Latin and German.

Copper engraving (with royal priviliege) by Johann Christian Leopold (1699-1755) published by Joseph Friedrich Leopold (1668-1727), early edition with the No. 45, Augsburg, c. 1730.
