Finely crafted single page from a French livre d'heueres. Large illuminated initial "D" with lush floral decorations on the front side, five-line gothic handwriting in red, blue and gold on both sides.

Manuscript in Latin written on vellum from a livre d'heures (book of hours), France c. 1450.

Sheet size: 16.2 x 11.4 cm.

Fine manuscript, slight crease at the bottom margin, some minor stains at the margins, overall, in very good condition.
