Original coloured copper engraved map from "Atlas Major" by Willem Blaeu (1571 - 1638), verso, text in Latin, Amsterdam 1662. This map is a later version of a map by Johannes Mejer (1606-1674) from the so-called "Danckwerth Atlas".
Beautiful copper engraving on strong laid paper with original colours. Typical centrefold, at the left and the right side slim margins, some minor stains at the bottom margin, otherwise in very good condition.
