Celestial map pictured in two hemispheres, depicting the constellations of the northern and southern hemispheres in form of allegorical figures and animals, after Johannes Hevelius (1611-1687) and Edmund Halley (1656-1742).

Original coloured copper engraving by Johann Baptist Homann (1664-1724) and Johann Gabriel Doppelmayr (1677-1750), from "Atlas Novus Coelestis", published by Homann Heirs, Nuremberg (1726) 1742.

Map size: 49 cm x 57,5 cm
