Title:”Magni Ducatus Lithuaniae Caeterarumque Regionum Illi Adjacentium…”

This large map depicts Lithuania with Vilinius, Latvia with Riga, Poland with Danzig, Thorn and Cracow, Russia with Königsberg und Smolensk and Ukraine with Kiew and Braclaw. This map was engraved by Hessel Gerritsz (c. 1581 – 1632) after drafts designed under Prince Nicolas Radziwill (1515 – 1556). It was first published in 1613 by Willem Blaeu (Guilielmus Janßonis) who later added the map to his „Atlas Major“.
