The map depicts Franconia with the diocese of Würzburg, Aschaffenburg in the east, Tann and Hildburghausen in the north, and Bad Mergentheim and Forchheim in the south. At the upper left a decorative title cartouche, on the lower left a small plan of Königshofen, on the lower right a view of the palace in Würzburg.
Original coloured copper engraving by Johann Baptist Homann (1664-1724), published by Homann Heirs c. 1743.
