A large and decorative map from Mortier’s issue of Jaillot’s “Atlas Nouveau”, with fine baroque title and scale cartouches. Copper engraved map of two sheets with full original colour and gold embellishments. Based on Sanson’s map, which Jaillot had redrawn on a larger scale. Paris/Amsterdam 1696-1708.
Shows the county of Holland from Rotterdam to the Texel island.
