Very detailed illustration of the Amazonas, it shows the newest findings of the Bavarian scientists Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius and Johann Baptist von Spix after their expedition in the years 1817 - 1820 to the inner part of Brazil.
Map with 16 segments, mounted on canvas, two segments are backed with marbled paper.
