Procession in Augsburg with Pope Pius VI, Bishop Clemens Wenzeslaus and entourage at May 2nd, 1782. In the upper part coat of arms and portrait of the Pope (left side) and of the bishop (right side), beneath the Augsburg Cathedral and town houses. In the centre the procession with citizens, walking and on horseback, with members of the churches and monasteries, and with the Pope and the elector in a coach drawn by eight horses. In the lower part title, explanations, and coat of arms of Augsburg.

Orig. coloured copper engraving, partly heightened with gold, by J.G. Freling, Augsburg 1782, 32 x 40 cm.

Good impression, nice original colours, paper esp. in the upper part and at margins brownish and stained, otherwise good condition.
