Former palace of the sister of Sultan Selim III. Splendid timber constructions directly lain at the  Bosphorus south of Ortaköy. Today there is the Palace Hotel Ciragan.

Copper engraving and etching by Née (1813), Reville and Le Rouge after a drawing by Antoine Ignace Melling (1763-1831), from "Voyage pittoresque de Constantinople et des rives du Bosphore", published by Treuttel and Würtz, Paris, Strasbourg & London 1819, 47,5 x 73,5 cm (plate size). 1st edition.

Rich and strong impression, perfect condition, paper unfolded and without spotting, wide margins.
