The samurai Kojima Takanori - dressed in a rustic straw cloak – sitting in the pouring rain under a budding cherry tree ad praying for the fate of the exiled Emperor Go-Daigo.

Excellent impression and colours, with embossing and lustre printing, the rain threads are printed with gofun white. Unbacked. Paper minimally age-toned. Left margin a little bit uneven, bottom and right margins professionally remargined. Overall very good condition.
