An atmospheric autumnal view of Ôhara in the mountainous north of Kyoto. Behind the rice fields, which just have been harvested, the typical thatched farmhouses of the area.

Very nice impression and colours, on thick paper. In bottom right corner embossed hexagonal seal of Shirô. First edition 1963, here from a smaller second edition made in1971, with adjusted date. Full margins. Very light mat-stain and few small stains and lines (possibly from printing) in margins. Verso in upper Ohara corners small paper remnants from previous hinging. Overall very nice condition.
