Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892)

The dance of princess Yaegaki. Lead by ghostly foxfires and by the help of her father Takeda Shingen’s magic helmet she is fleeing across the frozen lake Suwa.

Excellent impression in very good colours. Printed with metal pigment (oxidized), gauffrage and burnishing. Paper slightly age toned. Verso at left side a paper split area. A little soiling in margins, one tiny tear in bottom margin, in right margin some repaired small binding holes. Overall very nice condition.
