Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1798-1861)

Toshima Yasôemon Tsuneki kneeling on an overwhelmed mugger, two of his cronies are already bound on a tree. In the cartouche above a poem and a pine tree on a rock, signed Tori-jo (a daughter of Kuniyoshi)
