Mizuno Toshikata (1866-1908)

A Meiji-era beauty under her fashionable western-style umbrella. She is holding a bouquet of iris flowers. In the mist behind her the pagoda of a temple with some graves.

Size: Horizontal Aiban, 22.2 x 30.3 cm (overall)

Excellent impression and colours, with lustre printing. A few weak creases and folds and the two typical vertical kuchi-e folds. Overall very good condition.
