Excellent impression and colours, printed on very good heavy paper, with gauffrage and a little gofun white. Excellent condition.
Carefully printed in various shades of ink black and a reduced palette of muted colours, this rarely seen series shows a beautiful painterly Meiji period interpretation of Hokusai’s theme of the “One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji”.
