Prinz Genji drinking sake and enjoying the chirping of the crickets on an autumn night, accompanied by some elegant ladies.

Very good impression in excellent colours. Retains old album backing. Three separate sheets, only marginally trimmed. A few minor stains, partly due to printing, some slight surface soiling in bottom area. Overall very good condition.
The figures of this atmospheric triptych composition were created by Kunisada and the scenery by his pupil and son-in-law Kunihisa.
