Kawase Hasui (1883-1957)

Cherry blossom view of the Tendai temple Ryûsenji (aslo known as Meguro Fudô temple), in the Meguro district in Tokyo. This buddhist temple is dedicated to the warden deity Fudô Myôo. Visitors entering the main hall. Beautiful play of sunlight and shadow in the foreground.
