Mizuno Toshikata (1866-1908)

A young, woman wearing a fashionable Meisen (Ikat-) Kimono, in front of a window facing the garden. In one hand she is holding a book and is looking dreamily to the other side. Next to her on the wall is a beautiful Japanese fan. In front of the window a blooming peony.

Fine print with very good coulours. With two vertical folds (common with kuchi-e), some very light stains and some tiny wrinkles, altogether in very fine condition.
