Mizuno Toshikata (1866-1908)

A young lady embroidering, dressed in fashionable checkered Meisen(Ikat)-Kimono. In the background a man in a western suit, carrying a leather bag and an umbrella, is waiting in front of a lattice door which is opened by an old lady.

Very good impression and colours, with burnishing and embossed printing. With vertical centerfold (common with kuchi-e), paper slightly toned due to age, altogether in very good condition.
