Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892)

Taira no Tadamori (1096-1153) hides behind a tree in a temple's courtyard at night, ready to jump and attack a passing ghost. But it turns out that the ghost is just an old ragged priest who fills the lanterns of the temple with oil from a can.
