Katsukawa Shuntei (1770-1820)
The loyal samurai gather around Yuranosuke in front of the house of their master Enya, who had to kill himself a short time before. Yuranosuke shows them the sword Enya used and swears to take revenge for his master. (compare 4th act, 2nd scene of the play „Chûshingura“).
