Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) (1786-1865)

A leisurely dressed beauty, leaning at a go-table, reads aloud from a long scroll. Another beauty, with her hair hanging loose, is listening to the reading, on the floor a basin with a miniature landscape.

Very good print and colours with embossing, two separate unbaked sheets, at the inner edges some small, professionally restored pin holes, altogether in perfect condition.
