Portrait of St. Rosina, shown with roses on her head and with a crucifix in her hand.

Larger elaborate paper lace, cut by hand. In the upper part a medallion with the portrait of St. Rosina, fine and skilfully worked out gouache painting, below title with gold and colours, paper lace with painted flowers, on vellum, partly hightened with gold.

In the style of the Rococo period, made about 1760/80. 29 x 18,8 cm.

High quality art work, in a good condition. Mounted on turquoise paper. At upper right corner traces of a former dampness, at lower left margin a restored hole.

Rosina, the glorious protector, hermit and martyr, lived in Wenglingen / Allgäu.
